Don’t just fill, regenerate!

The award-winning Sunekos cosmetic injectable bio-regenerating treatment improves signs of ageing by enhancing, stimulating and boosting the production of new collagen and elastin helping rebuild and rejuvenate your skin from within. Now available in Albany, Auckland

What is Sunekos?

Sunekos is very special and like no other!

Sunekos is entirely  different to a filler. This cosmetic injectable treatment uses a patented formula which combines amino acids (the essential building blocks of elastin and collagen) with hyaluronic acid.

Sunekos regenerates the Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM) of your skin by stimulating fibroblasts in the skin to produce collagen and elastin. It is ideal for those who want to restore the naturally youthful look of your skin and improve signs of ageing with or without the use of other traditional injectables available.

How does Sunekos work ?

Sunekos® treatment helps to regenerate skin by stimulating skin cells to produce new collagen and elastin, effectively repairing and rebuilding skin from within. This process is referred to as a dermal biogenesis or simply skin regeneration! Sunekos corrects and protects the dermis from signs of ageing.  The Sunekos formula is administered through a  series of small injections with fine needle or a cannula. The procedure is relatively painless, and a topical anaesthetic can be applied before your treatment.

How soon can I return to normal activities?

The Sunekos treatment is a minimally invasive procedure that generally requires little to no downtime. You may see a little redness and sometimes some swelling at the injection points. This usually improves within 1-2 days. Bruising can occur and may take up to 1 week to heal. You can return to  most of your normal activities, but avoiding intense forms of exercise for the first 24 hours after the procedure.

Risks and side effects

Side effects and complications can occur but are rare. Sunekos is made of Hyaluronic acid and Amino acids, which are substances normally present in the body. Common injection related side effects are localised and temporary, and may include swelling, redness and bruising. Occasionally you may notice itching, pain and tenderness at the injection sites or prolonged swelling. Most side effects are treatable and can be managed.

When can I expect to see a result

You will start to see results as soon as 7 to 10 days after your first treatment. The skin will improve over time and become more noticeable around 4 to 6 weeks. The skin will continue to improve after completing the recommended series. To maintain your results, 1 session is recommended every 6 months.
